Helpful Notes
- The special stitch used in this pattern is the Moss Stitch, which is essentially chaining 1 and working a sc in the ch 1 space of the previous row. I have written out how to work it up in Rows 2 & 3, and then simply refer to it as “Moss Stitch” there after.
- To make the striped version, switch colors every 2 rows.
- If you prefer to make a different size, simply chain an even number of stitches then work the pattern as written.
- Work more or less rows if you’d like your washcloth longer or shorter.
- The pattern is available to view for free on the ad-supported Juniper & Oakes website. This ad-free PDF provides a more convenient, annoyance-free way of reading the pattern.
