Stitch a blanket with a message. This overlay mosaic blanket features a portrait of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg alongside her words, "When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty," worked in just two colors with clean, graphic mosaic stitches.
What You’ll Make
A large, cozy throw that makes a statement on the couch, over a chair, or as a meaningful gift for someone who shares her spirit. The blanket is worked flat, row by row, and finished with an envelope border that neatly hides all of your ends.

Adventurous Beginner / Intermediate

Helpful Notes
- This pattern is written for overlay mosaic crochet, working one color per row and alternating Color A and Color B.
- Every row is worked on the right side and the yarn is cut at the end of each row.
- The ends are enclosed in the envelope border, so there's no weaving in hundreds of tails.
- Mosaic blankets can lean while you work. A gentle wash and blocking at the end will square it up.
