Piper’s Blankie | Textured Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

I created this blanket for my sweet baby Piper while I was still pregnant with her. I envisioned her loving the delicate textures of the stitches as well as the texture of the velvet yarn itself. It features two different textured stitches (the Moss Stitch and the Even Moss Stitch) with a Shell stitch border. I love snuggling my baby while she is snuggled up with this blankie.

This cozy baby blanket is generously sized to grow with baby. Super bulky weight velvet yarn works up quickly to create an extra thick and snuggly blanket that would also make a great play mat!
